  • Book your workshop today!

Tyler can provide workshops for both competitive, performance, and recreational purposes.

  • Types of Workshops

There are a variety of options when booking a workshop! Our workshop can focus on one of all of these options.

    Technique

Technique work is vital for dancers of all skill levels! Breaking movements down to their most basic form allows dancers to focus in on their fundamentals and basics.

    Competitive

I believe that every movement in a step

should be with intention. By breaking down

each step and going through each movement, dancers can transition from knowing their steps

    to owning them.

    Performance

    Whether it's a competition or a show,

Irish dancing should always be performed!

Our workshop can have an emphasis on projecting to the entire audience and having

stage presence! Along with cleaning up competitive material, I can also do the

    same with performance material!

    Fusion

There are so many connections between Irish dance and other rhythmic dance forms such as tap and body percussion.

By teaching some of these combinations, dancers gain a better understanding

    of rhythm and timing.

It's also a great way to "mix it up"!

"The workshop with Tyler was amazing!
He is such a rare talent and the opportunity to work with him was such a thrill for my dancers.
He has so much energy and he kept the dancers actively engaged and focused the entire time. They learned so much about performance, technique, and creativity, and he provided them with the beginning's of a great new performance piece. They had a blast working with Tyler and want to know when he will be back!"

    2002-2009

Located in Northern suburbs of Chicago, my family decided to transfer to Anam Mor because of its proximity to our home. During my time at Anam Mor, I was taught by ADCRG Amy Moran and TCRG Colleen Martin. Additionally, I was granted my own creative input towards my choreography at an early age.

    2009-2014

During my first year in college, Anam Mor closed its doors for financial reasons, which lead to my decision to transfer back to my original school. I made this decision for its teaching, performance, and competitive opportunities, along with creative freedom towards my own choreography.
